A Wittenberg priest had won the black book by lot – and a maid filled his room with imps.
In Vinger there were several priests of the Rynning family. One of them, the Skinnarbøl priest, had studied in Wittenberg and won the black book by lot, since there were not enough for all the students. He hid the book well in his bedroom, but once when the maid was cleaning she found it and began to read. At once the room filled with imps, so many the priest couldn't get them out until he brought in a fishing net and set them to untie it.
