Movement and vanishing objects

A woman on the second floor is said to appear at the window from time to time, although no one should be there. Guests and owners have heard distinct footsteps above their heads when nobody else was present.

At the kitchen entrance the lights switch on and off with no human involvement, and the door opens unexpectedly. Objects in the house also seem at times to have a life of their own — one example being a broom that stood itself upright without help.

In the brewhouse belonging to the farm, the strangeness has taken a more physical form. A hanging photograph disappeared without trace and was later found in another room, as though someone — or something — had wanted it moved. By the garage, where old items are often left, objects have been thrown back at those trying to dispose of them.

The spirits make contact

The spirit of a young girl is said to be among the most active. She often appears to children in the house and wants to play. Another presence, a man carrying a child in his arms, has been seen heading up the stairs to the attic. By the bedroom, knocking sounds are heard on the wall every night at 3.30, which makes the hours uncomfortable for anyone who dares to stay over.

Who is haunting the farm?
