When the current owners moved in they were met by footsteps in empty corridors, sudden scents and figures glimpsed at the edge of vision, and psychic visitors claim a dozen spirits inhabit the house — among them a woman named Éléonore. The castle has featured in countless ghost hunts and television reports. Today it embraces its reputation, offering tours, ghost nights and overnight stays for anyone who wants to test it themselves.
