The old Harden house stands on Fourth Street at Camden, New York. Charlie Harden, a wealthy man, had it built in the middle of the 1800s and he later died in it.

He has been seen more than a few times in the ornate foyer, and on the curving staircase that rises from it.

There are cold spots throughout the building.

A man who commissioned a house, lived in it and died in it is the most straightforward case in this whole collection. There is no mystery about who he is supposed to be, no crime attached, and no dispute about the dates.

The foyer and the stair are also, in a house of that period, the parts the owner spent the most money on and the parts he would have shown to visitors.

The house is private property.
