Around 1989 the programme director of the radio station at this college in Claremore, Oklahoma died of a heart attack, early on a Saturday morning, on the couch in the station lobby.

Two DJs were in the building when it happened.

Weeks later, staff locking up down by the car park began reporting that they had seen him.

A campus radio station is a particular sort of place. It runs at hours nobody else is on site, it is staffed by students working alone in a small lit room, and the programme director is the one adult who is always there. He died on the couch in the lobby everybody passes on the way in.
