The Conjuring House, also known as the Old Arnold Estate, is a colonial farmhouse on Round Top Road in Burrillville, Rhode Island, built around 1736. In the years around 1970 the Perron family lived here and reported intense paranormal activity, which Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated, and the case inspired the 2013 film The Conjuring. Local legend ties the haunting to Bathsheba Sherman, a woman accused of witchcraft in the nineteenth century, although historians dispute the accusations. The house is privately owned and operated for paranormal tours and overnight stays.
