Store Restrup west of Aalborg is a mighty manor with roots in the Middle Ages, today operated as a castle hotel. Now and then there is considerable commotion in the cellar vaults — it is Mr. Iver searching for a great gold treasure he hid down there before his death. Local legends are clear about the conditions: Mr. Iver will never find it. The gold treasure only appears if the manor burns.
Another, considerably milder figure moves through the upper floors. A beautiful, gentle lady adores small children and kisses them softly on the forehead as they sleep — so softly they do not wake frightened. Parents who have stayed in the family suites have told of children who woke with a smile and asked about "the aunt" who was there earlier.
