An older woman, dressed entirely in black, has been seen in the hall near unit 450. She walks through the walls and doors of that corridor.

The hospital dates from the 1940s and has an unusual history: it began as a tuberculosis sanatorium, a desert resort where patients came for the dry air, and the low spread out buildings and long open walkways are left over from that. Tucson drew tuberculosis patients from all over the country, and a great many of them died here.

A figure walking through the walls of a modern corridor is worth noting for a specific reason: in a building that grew by extension over eighty years, today's walls are not where yesterday's were.
