The Crump Theatre at Columbus, Indiana was built in 1874 as a vaudeville and opera house, and over the years it has held every kind of entertainment, including a long spell as a cinema.

The original account says that as far as supernatural events go, what has happened at the Crump is somewhat limited, and then gives the eyewitness reports there are.

That opening line is why this entry is kept. Almost nobody submitting to a collection like this begins by playing down their own site.

The building itself is genuinely significant. Columbus, Indiana is famous out of all proportion to its size for modern architecture, with buildings by Eero Saarinen, I M Pei and others, and the Crump is the town's oldest theatre.

It has been closed and campaigned over for years.

The building is not open to the public.
