Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s largest, is by tradition haunted by the Green Lady. She is said to have been a maid to Mary Queen of Scots, and seeing her warns of fire or disaster — by legend she herself died in a blaze. A Pink Lady walks here too. The castle, where several Scottish kings were crowned, is open to visitors.
